Although our workplace is great, our corporate values framework wasn’t aligned with our employee experience. I invited Briony and Lyndsey in to help translate the practical gap between philosophical corporate constructs and our day-to-day behaviours, rituals and habits. Both brought their considerable experience to bear to created a bespoke workshop for our leaders, providing the tools and space for individuals to develop their mindsets to positively impact our collective organisational psyche.
As leaders we have not been without frequent leadership training, so the task to ignite systemic cultural change where others had failed was a tall order. Their distinctive material was more relevant and tailored than the industry standard due to their deep experience of how to maintain behaviours whilst managing stressful and critical international events - which is historically where good leadership behaviours tend to fail. Crucially their material is not designed for when everything is going well, making their guidance imminently digestible to everyone who took part. Much of their startling insights stems from their natural ability to gain trust and feedback compassionately whilst retaining radical candour.
Following Lyndsey and Briony’s consultancy we have experienced the tangible systemic changes, driven by our leaders, that seemed previously out of reach no matter how much training was thrown at the problem.

I’d highly recommend Lead the Room to anyone wanting to develop their leadership practice. Providing opportunities for group reflection and discussion, the course generates real food for thought.
It is structured around four key leadership behaviours: Purpose, Connection, Creativity and Courage. For me, the emphasis on building connection within team really resonated. Leading a multi-disciplined, dispersed team, it has been critical to develop channels of communication that break down the barriers that can arise when colleagues are not co-located.
